Privacy Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
The short version
- If you play on your own without an account, nothing leaves your device.
- An account needs a sign in from Google or Apple, a name you choose, and the results of the matches you play.
- There is no chat in Brawlorama, so there are no messages for anyone to read.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
- You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the game.
This policy explains what Friends Forever Studios LLC collects when you play Brawlorama or visit this website, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be waded through.
Playing without an account
Practice matches against the computer, the tutorial, and your settings all work with no account. When you play this way, nothing is sent to us. Your progress, your statistics and your controls live only on your own device, and they disappear if you delete the app.
What an account holds
You need an account to play with other people, because other players need a name to see. When you make one, we hold:
- Your sign in. You sign in through Google or Apple. They tell us an identifier for you and a basic profile. We never see or store your password.
- Your name and number, the one you pick, such as Jake#4821.
- Your fighter and the look you chose for them.
- Roughly where you are, meaning your country and general area. We use it to find you players with a good connection and to show the leaderboard for near you. We do not collect your precise location.
- Your match results: who played, which stage, who won, knockouts, damage, and how long it lasted.
- Your rank, your season points and your fair play score.
- Your friends list, friend requests, and anyone you have blocked.
- Your controls layout, so it follows you to a new phone.
- Whether you have a membership, once memberships exist.
While an online match is being played
During a match your device swaps button presses with the other players, both directly and through our servers. This is what makes the match work. We do not keep any of it once the match is over.
Your account identifier travels with you inside a room so that other players can add you as a friend afterwards.
Connection reports
If you tap Report lag, and automatically at the end of an online match, your device sends us a short report so we can find out why the game felt slow. It holds the last thirty seconds of frame rates and connection timings, plus facts about your device such as its type, screen size, memory and graphics chip. It holds nothing you typed, because there is nothing to type.
Reporting another player
If you report someone, we keep who made the report, who it was about, the reason you picked, any note you added, and which match it came from. We need this to act on it and to notice when the same person is reported repeatedly.
This website
- Our host keeps ordinary server records of visits, which include your network address.
- If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are passed to our email so we can reply.
- There are no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies on this site.
Things we do not do
- We do not sell your information, and we never have.
- There is no chat in Brawlorama. No text, no voice, no messages between players.
- There are no outside advertising networks. The only promotions you will see are our own short videos about membership.
- We do not follow you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of companies to run the game. Each one is bound to protect your information to the same standard we do, and to use it only for the job we gave them.
- Google, for signing in and for storing accounts and profiles.
- Apple, for signing in on Apple devices.
- Cloudflare, which runs our game servers, the matchmaking, the leaderboards and the help that connects two players directly.
- Apple and Google, as the app stores, who handle any purchase and tell us only whether a membership is active.
- Web3Forms, which carries the contact form on this website to our email. It is not used in the game.
Children
Brawlorama asks your date of birth once, before any account is made and before anything goes online. We keep only the answer to the question "thirteen or older", never the date itself.
If you are under thirteen you can still play on your own device, including practice and the tutorial, and your progress stays on that device. Nothing at all is sent to us: no account, no reports, no online play.
How long we keep things
- Your account and everything attached to it: until you delete it.
- Connection reports: up to twelve months, then removed.
- Player reports: up to twenty four months, so repeated behaviour can be seen.
- Website server records: a short period set by our host.
- Emails you send us: as long as we need them to deal with what you asked.
Deleting your account
Open Settings in the game, then Delete account. This removes your profile, your name and number, your match history, your rank and your place on the leaderboards, and it takes you off everyone else's friends list. It cannot be undone.
You can also write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it removed, or to withdraw your agreement to any of this. We will not treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, and we will honour them.
Where your information is held
Our servers are in the United States. Brawlorama is offered in the United States, Canada and Mexico, so if you play from Canada or Mexico your information is sent to and held in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change matters, we will say so in the game as well.
